
Acer has declared its new smartphone called Acer Iconia Smart mobile phone that looks glassy. The design of this handset is curvy. This mobile phone works with an 1 GHz Scorpion processor and the Android v2.3 (Gingerbread) operating system.
The networking features of Acer Iconia Smart mobile phone support quad band GSM as well as HSDPA. The data transfer features are EDGE, GPRS and 3G. The local device-to-device connectivity features are Bluetooth and microUSB. Wi-Fi option is also included. The browser of this mobile phone is HTML enabled and its navigator boasts of an A-GPS reciever.
Acer Iconia Smart mobile phone comes with a 4.8 inch TFT capacitive touchscreen display complemented by 480 x 1024 pixels. Six-axis gryo sensor, Multi-touch input method, Touch-sensitive controls, Proximity and Accelerometer sensors are included in this smartphone. The texting features are Push Email, Email, MMS and SMS. The phonebook and call records consist of unlimited fields and entries. Photocall option is also included.
Acer Iconia Smart mobile phone comes with an 8 MP camera at a resolution of 3264 x 2448 pixels. LED flash, autofoucus, image stabilization, geo-tagging, face and smile detection are included in this device. Formats supported by audio and video player are MP3, WAV, WMA, eAAC+, MP4, H.264, H.263, XviD.
Some of the other features included are HDMI port, FM radio with RDS, Google Search, You Tube, Maps, Gmail, Google Talk, Document viewer, Organizer, Dobly mobile sound enhancement, Loud speaker, 3.5mm audio jack, SNS integration, third party application, Voice memo/dial/commands and Adobe Flash Player.
In addition to a 512 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM and 8 GB internal memory this mobile phone supports microSD memory of up to 32GB. This device weighs about 185 grams and measures about 141.7 x 64.5 x 13.6mm. The battery of this mobile phone is standard Li-Po 1500 mAh. The talk time offered is up to 11 hours and standby up to 450 hours.
