This can be seen from the crashing share market values of the contemporary mobile brands. Nokia Symbian platform has plummeted down from 47% to 16% within the past three years. Phone platforms of Microsoft have also come down to 1% from 12 % while other platforms have become reduced to almost nil from 21%. The crashing done of RIM from 17% to 12% is creating quite a bit of apprehension in the market these days.

On the other hand Android shares have risen from zero to 48%, iOS from 2% to 19% and Bada from zero to 4%.
