Orange have announced that they will start retailing the Apple iPhone 3G and Apple iPhone 3G S in their stores, both the real and virtual ones from November 10. Even the Carphone Warehouse and Phones4U will be offering the best mobile phones on behalf of Orange. The mobile phone operator has seen a positive response from its customers since the announcement of the iPhone on their network. Hence they seem all buckled up to give their customers the best 3G experience in the whole of the UK.


Orange have already started work on a whole new range of applications for their iPhones. They've even made one available on iTunes for free. The app is called Orange Wednesdays. This service gives you details about movies - the latest, the ones running currently, the trailers, the cinemas, their contact & location and the Orange Wednesdays codes. The 8GB & 16GB models of the iPhone 3G and the 16GB & 32GB models of the iPhone 3G S will all be sold by the network provider. You can get the iPhone from Orange either on contract or on pay as you go basis.

Contract - The Apple iPhones are available with a 2 year contract with Orange, with the iPhone 3G costing £30 per month and the iPhone 3G S priced at £45 a month. For those who travel frequently, there is also an offer with allowances on roaming calls and internet usage. This mobile offer costs £125 a month. There is one more attraction - the Orange iPhone customers also get to use BT Openzone, UK's largest WiFi network, for free.


Pay as you go - The iPhone 3G is available on the pay as you go scheme. For an amount of £333 and a top up of £50, the customers can enjoy 250MB of downloading a month.
