The Willcom Hybrid W-Zero WS027SH Mobile Phone has some unique qualities. It supports both 3.5G networks as well as PHS networks. PHS, short for Personal Handyphone System, is a wireless phone technology, which requires lesser power than other cell phone technologies.

This smartphone is a Windows Mobile 6.5 device. A 3.5-inch VGA screen is sported. This mobile phone seems like a slider and houses an alpha-numeric keypad. WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS abilities are all supported. A 5 Megapixel camera is packed in too. A customized user interface called x-Crawl is supposed to have been incorporated and a jog dial is present for shuffling between icons and moving the cursor sideways.

The PHS technology is more common in places like Japan, China, Thailand and Taiwan. Hence, it is doubtful if the Willcom Hybrid W-Zero Smartphone will make it to other markets. Moreover, the keypad of this mobile handset affirms this. However, due to its 3.5G support, there are chances it might make its way to other shores. There has been no official word about release or pricing.
