Blackberry Storm 2 Mobile Phone
Blackberry Storm 2 Mobile Phone might most probably be a reality later on this year. There were reports about work in progress on this new handset, a sequel to the Blackberry Storm, since May 2009. This new gadget might bear the model number - 9550. Hence it might be called the Blackberry Storm-2 9550.
Not many details about the new Blackberry phone are out yet. The only information known is as follows:- This handheld will feature WiFi connectivity, which was absented in the Blackberry Storm. Hence you can connect to the internet at WiFi hotspots using the new Blackberry Storm 2 smartphone. The Blackberry OS version 5.0 will be employed in the new gadget. The previous model had featured the OS version 4.7. Another novelty with the new Storm 2 is that it will sport a capacitive touch screen. The older one had a Surepress rough and tough screen. How rugged the display of the new mobile phone will be is still not known. The resolution remains the same though - 360 x 480 pixels.
The new Storm 2 mobile phone supports quad band GSM/EDGE, CDMA, UMTS and HSDPA. It sports a 3.2 Megapixel camera like the predecessor model. Perhaps a higher resolution camera would have been a better upgrade option.
