Asus recently announced the specifications of Asus P835 Windows Mobile Phone. Initially called “Galaxy 7″, this smartphone runs on the Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional operating system. A 3.5 inch TFT touch sensitive screen is featured, which presents a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and is capable of displaying 65k colours. A navigation pad is available below the screen for scrolling and performing other monitor-related operations.
A unique ability of this phone is that it can act as an internet access junction allowing almost 10 devices to use its WiFi or HSPA link to connect to the internet. Quad band GSM, GPRS and EDGE protocols are supported by this smartphone. Bluetooth 2.0 and USB 2.0 connectivity are offered as well. This mobile phone also has GPS integrated into it. A 4GB internal memory is present for users. Expansion of memory can be achieved too, with the microSD card slot, which also supports SDHCs. A stylus slot is present at the back of this device.
