The Canadian mobile manufacturing company Research in Motion (RIM) brings out a new PDA in their Blackberry line of products. The new mobile phone is a CDMA mobile phone supporting 3G network.The new BlackBerry Curve 3G 9330 Mobile Phone supports CDMA 800 / 1900 2G networks and CDMA2000 1xEV-DO 3G network.
The 2.46 inch TFT display of the phone supports 65 K colours and has a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. The phone has a QWERTY keypad, a dedicated music key and a touch-sensitive optical trackpad.
The 2 MP Camera provided supports video recording. A-GPS is available in the phone with preloaded BlackBerry Maps. Rev. A 3G, WLAN, Bluetooth v2.1 and MicroUSB v2.0 are the connectivity features in the phone.
The BlackBerry Curve 3G 9330 CDMA Mobile Phone works on the BlackBerry OS 5.0 platform. The system RAM is 512 MB and the ROM is 512 MB. Memory is expandable up to 32 GB with MicroSD Memory Card.
SMS, MMS, Email, Push Email and IM are the messaging functions in this mobile phone. An HTML browser is provided for high-speed browsing with a download speed of up to 3.1 Mbps in 3G networks.
The other important features are MP3/eAAC+/WMA/WAV player, MP4/H.263/H.264/WMV player, Organiser, Voice memo/dial/commands and Predictive text input.
The size of the mobile phone is 109 x 60 x 14 mm and it weighs 105 g. The standard Li-Ion 1500 mAh battery gives a stand-by life of 252h and gives a talk time of up to 4h 30min. Music playback of up to 15 h is possible.
