HTC Leo Mobile Phone is rumoured to be the latest clamshell venture of the Taiwanese mobile phone company. Not many specs are detailed yet. However, the little that is known is quite interesting.

The HTC Leo is expected to sport dual screens. The main internal one is supposed to present a WVGA resolution and widescreen ability, while the second external one might be a QVGA one. This clamshell is speculated to have a QWERTY keyboard. A report in the WMPoweruser mentions the support of Open GL 2.0, which suggests the use of a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. This smartphone is also expected to be a Windows mobile phone. Perhaps it might use the Windows Mobile 6.5 OS.

Talking about dual screens, the LG enV Touch Mobile Phone has 2 screens too. Its form factor is the same as the one HTC Leo is expected to have. The LG enV is available on the Verizon network for $599 in the US.

About 2 years ago, a phone model called HTC Omni, which had similar specs as the Leo, was doing rounds on the internet. However, this device never actually made it to market shelves. Hence guesses are that HTC Leo is the long lost HTC Omni. However, nothing is confirmed yet, including pricing or availability.
