The
HTC Touch2 Mobile Phone seems like a humbler version of the
HTC HD2 Mobile Phone. Both these mobile handsets run on the same operating system - Microsoft's new Windows Mobile 6.5. Most of the other features offered by these
mobile phones are similar as well. But as mentioned, the HTC Touch2 is the meeker device.
The Touch2 candybar phone features a 2.8" resistive touch display. This seems quite small for people with large fingers to work upon. However, the use of the stylus that comes in the package can be convenient. HTC's TouchFlo interface has been implemented in this handheld, for enhancing the touch experience.
The complete networking package of quad-band GSM, GPRS, 3G and WiFi is offered by this mobile handset. There is a web browser pre-loaded for interfacing with the internet. An email client is integrated within as well. You can thus, surf the internet, check your emails, apart from sending and receiving SMS, MMS and ofcourse calls. Bluetooth and the USB port can be used for inter-device communication. GPS is supported too, for accessing location based apps. MisroSD cards are supported for memory expansion as well as data sharing.
A multimedia player, an FM radio and a 3.5mm headphone jack form the entertainment aspects of this gadget. There is a 3.2MP camera built-in for letting you snap photographs and capture videos. Sadly, the camera does not support flash. Therefore, photography at dimly lit places is out of the question. The battery life offered by this device is about 6 hours for talking. The
HTC Touch2 Windows 6.5 Smartphone deal has been priced at £310.
