INQ, which is owned by Hutchison-Whampoa, announced that they would soon release a new mobile phone which would feature an internet based client, for easy access to the social networking website -
Twitter. This feature will enable you to update your status very easily to let your friends and family know what you are doing, at any time. Moreover this handset will provide access to Skype, Facebook and eBay too. Fast internet access with 3G is also supposed to be featured.
This Twitter phone, which has not yet been named officially, will most probably run on the 3 network, which is owned by Hutchison-Whampoa as well. There are rumours that 3 might not be the only one who will be blessed with this phone. However, we will have to wait to hear more in this regard.
The most attractive part of this INQ2 Twitter phone is its price - It is expected to ship at a price below £90! The market shelves can expect this gadget by the end of this year.
The company had earlier released a handset called
INQ1 which was a Facebook phone. This device had bagged an award for the best mobile phone at the Mobile World Congress this year. This handheld also provided access to Yahoo, eBay, Windows Messenger, Skype, Google and more. It as well had a 3.2MP camera built into it. The
INQ Twitter Mobile Phone is supposed to be an alternate version of this device.
Other mobile phone manufacturers, like Nokia and Sony Ericsson had implemented the concept of easy Facebook/MySpace access in their handsets after the INQ1. This
iNQ mobile phone is definitely a trend-setter in the making of socio-networking mobile gizmos.
