New LG Chocolate BL40 Mobile Phone with 21:9 Aspect Ratio Screen
LG will soon be adding a new handset to their Black Label Series. This new gadget will be called the LG Chocolate BL40 mobile phone. Currently a mystery phone, the exact specifications of this device are not known. The only information leaked out right now is that this handheld will feature a 21:9 aspect ratio screen. This aspect ratio is supposed to deliver a better viewing experience than the 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio. Philips, the popular television maker, was the first to introduce this new aspect ratio in their LCD TV. And now, LG is the first to bring it to the mobile phone world.

Coming back to the LG Chocolate 2009 version - it is supposed to have a full touchscreen display, with the resolution being 800 × 345 pixels. It will feature LG's native OS. It is also expected to employ the S-Class interface. The Obigo browser might be used in this gadget. Connectivity-wise, this LG mobile phone will supposedly support GPRS, UMTS and HSDPA. This means 3.5G capability and fast internet access. A 5 Megapixel camera is as well expected to be packed in the new Chocolate phone.

The LG Chocolate BL40 21:9 Aspect Ratio Phone has not been officially announced yet. However, this delicious phone that has worked up our appetites is expected to hit markets during the 4th quarter of this year. Some reports mention that the mobile phone will be released in August too. There is also information saying that this phone might run on the TELUS network when it arrives. However no details about the UK market have been heard as of now.
