LG Cookie Plus GS500 mobile phone is one of LG's youthful and peppy handsets. When we say youthful, it's obvious that there's social networking and entertainment involved. This new Cookie aims at taking the success story of the earlier Cookie, the LG KP500, further. The biggest advantage that the Cookie Plus GS500 has over the KP500 is 3G ability.

A fun to use interface with a cartoon-touch to it, will definitely work in favour of this new LG mobile phone. The 3" WVGA touchscreen is accompanied by just 3 buttons on the facade. The handheld has soft rounded edges and comes draped in black, white and purple colours. On the whole, it does look appealing to the eye.

The interface is widget based. Browsing the internet, emailing, socialising and more can be done using the 3G signals wherever available. The LiveSquare feature helps stay in touch with friends in an easy way. It allows assigning avatars to your friends on the social networks and also combines all their tweets and other social updates in a single view.

Entertainment comes in the form of a multimedia player and an FM radio. There's a 3.5mm headphone socket present as well. A 3MP camera comes built in too.

The LG Cookie Plus GS500 release date for UK has not yet been confirmed. The price is not known yet too. In Italy it retails under the name LG Velvet for a price of €179.
