Let’s start with the transparent numeric keypad. This is made of tempered glass and is resistant to shocks and vibration. It has a glow for enabling visibility in any light condition. Apart from letting you type in numbers and letters, this keypad also plays the role of a touchpad. You can navigate through the menu by running your finger over this keypad. Moreover, it recognizes your finger gestures. Moving your finger over it to form certain letters, act as inputs to open up certain menus. For example, dragging your finger in the shape of letter ‘M’ opens up the music menu. This intuitive keypad even lets you zoom in and out while viewing online pages.

The LG GD900 is actually a slider phone. Sliding it open will reveal the transparent keypad. When closed, you may as well use the touchscreen to feed in your input. This 3” display has a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. LG’s S-Class UI has been employed too for presenting an easy to use interface. The 3D cube menu, which sorts out the various categories in a neat fashion, is used in this cell phone. There is an accelerometer for screen view rotation also.

Entertainment-wise, Dolby surround sound has been used for acoustics. An FM radio is built into this music phone. An 8 Megapixel camera is packed into this multimedia phone as well.
