The LG InTouch Max GW620 Smartphone is LG's first Android driven mobile phone. This LG mobile phone has a 3" touchscreen with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. There's also a slide out QWERTY keyboard. Though this device has made a market entry a few days ago, it was spotted on an xml file in the LG website by some of those microscope visioned enthusiasts of the internet.
Being a modern-day Android mobile phone, you can expect most of the high-end features in this handheld. However, the version of Android that this gadget comes with is 1.5, while that of the Google Nexus One is 2.1. Therefore the LG smartphone is not the latest you'll find in terms of the Android offering.
Nevertheless, it can meet all your mobile phone needs. There's 3G and WiFi compliance for example. You can thus browse the web when you're at the hotspots or even when travelling in an automobile. There's a 5MP camera with flash integrated into this gadget. Both photographs and videos can be captured. You can even upload them on to social networks for your friends and family to see, or attach them to emails. These files can also be transferred to other devices like your PC or camera via Bluetooth. Not just emails, you can keep in touch with people via MMS, SMS, calls and video calls too.
The Android Marketplace can be accessed for downloading a whole world of useful applications or games. You can listen to music and watch videos on this handset as well. There's a media player and FM radio packed within too.
The integrated GPS lets you know more about the places around you.
The LG InTouch Max GW620 Mobile Phone is quoted to offer 8 hours of talktime and 25 days on stand-by.
This handset is currently available with a 2-year T-Mobile contract with a monthly tariff of £20. The handset itself ships free of cost.
