4G Network not fool proof
The telecommunications regulator of the United Kingdom, Ofcom has issued a warning that the new Long Term Evolution mobile network (4G network) would have to be treated in a totally different way compared to the present 3G mobile network, by the mobile network operators of the country.

The regulatory body had found after conducting a survey in the context that great numbers of British consumers were spending a lot more on their mobile phone bills than they had anticipated.

While this has been turning out to be a standard practice presently for mobile phone cotracts to include unlimited mobile broadband usage that amounts to more or less between 500 MB and 1GB, the watchdog is concerned about this not being nearly enough.

The fresh 4G mobile network is expected to offer mobile broadband speeds of almost 230 per cent speedier than the existing 3G network that equates to a video file being downloaded in only a third of the time it would be taking at present. It is expected that such speeds would undoubtedly increase usage, and in the absence of the right regulation it will not be a disciplined area.

Ofcom's taking up the case bodes nothing but good for the consumers as tablet computers have been offering 3G connectivity besides mobile phones that are able to act as mobile Wi-Fi hotspots becoming more searched for services than many other data standards.
