Acer makes its beginning in the high end market with the stream
With on-line retailer eXpansys,
Acer has cut an exclusive deal to sell its Acer Stream Andriod smartphone.
Into the high end smartphone market, it is for the first time Acer embarks. The handset is 112mm wide, with a retail price of £399. Running on Andriod 2.1 and boasting about 3.7 inch AMOLED WVGA screen, the smartphone can display
1.67 million colors with a contrast ratio of 2000:1.
Powered by 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, it also carries HSPDA 7.2, 2GB memory, 512MB of RAM, blue-tooth and Wi-Fi connectivity options. The device camera can be output over mini HDMI and comes with
720p High Definition Video Shooting Skills along with 5 megapixel still sensor.
Expansys Adam Moss said that, Acer with this
device has crept up on the competition. Although they have not been on the radar for phone technology, now has come out with a fantastic piece of kit.
Tagged only for £399, Acer has really made it to its customers.
