Android Market's movie section opened to the UK customers
Google's move to open the movie section of the Android market comes as good news to all movie buffs in the UK. Film rental service that provides thousands of film titles is now live for Android users.

This will enable the customers in the UK to rent from thousands of movies over a 3G or WiFi connection. Films to rent starts at £2.49 and includes recent titles too. To benefit from the renting service, Android users will have to download the free Videos app available in the Android market. The film rented for online viewing is downloaded in your device.

When you rent a movie you will be offered with 30 days to start viewing it. After you start watching the movie, you will be given 24 hours to view the full film. During this 24 hour period you can watch the movie as many times you want.

You can not only watch the movies on Android smart phone and tablets, but the films can also be viewed on TV using a computer or HDMI cable.
