BBX OS unveiled by RIM
Next year onwards, BlackBerry mobile phones will run on latest BBX operating system. The new operating system was unveiled at Blackberry applications developers conference at San Francisco by Mike Lazaridis, company's Co-CEO.

According to the reports, the new operating system from RIM will feature finest features of QNX and the most excellent features available in the existing BlackBerry operating system. Currently, the company's Playbook tablet uses QNX. BlackBerry users will be offered with better user experience with the new OS.

Beta version of RIM's PlayBook OS 2.0 will be released by the firm. It will feature developer support for creating applications that operates on Android operating system available for its developers. This move will provide more tools for developers to make their applications better and effective. BlackBerry and QNX platforms will meet RIM's new BBX platform.

BlackBerry customers can make use of the new operating system and its enhanced features very soon.
