The leading mobile phone retailers operating in the United Kingdom, Best Buy and Carphone Warephone have announced that they would be the first in the country to put on sale the HTC Incredible mobile phone that is already available for pre order on their websites.

This smartphone has gone on sale from 26 February and is one of the first mobile phones to be announced in the United Kingdom after the 2011 Barcelona mobile world congress. This smartphone will start selling across the country from 3 March through over 800 stores.

Basically HTC Incredible S is a compact version of another popular HTC product, HTC Desire HD, or a larger version of the HTC Desire S mobile phone. This smartphone boats of a capacity touchscreen of 4 inch diagonal size, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 1 GHz processor, a RAM of 768MB and a ROM of 1.1GB.

The HTC Incredible S has its imaging part blessed with an integrated 8MP camera, supported by dual LED flash and high defination recording. The other striking features of the smartphone are its Android 2.2 operating system which would be eventually upgraded to Gingerbread HTC Sense and DLVA compatiablity.

Meanwhile, some people have not refrained from expressing their disappointment that HTC was not that eager to contend with other Android players in the mobile phone market of the United Kingdom.
