Owing to problems with the new Sony Ericsson Satio Smartphone and its software, Carphone Warehouse has temporarily stopped selling the mobile phone. The UK sales and marketing group of Sony Ericsson has mentioned about issues faced by some consumers when they use certain applications on the said mobile handset.

The Satio is a high-end smartphone, with a 12MP camera, plenty of options for multimedia, and all modern networking and connectivity options. The mobile phone maker has stated that this issue has been given top priority by the company and they're working to resolve them. Once all problems are addressed, the Carphone Warehouse will resume selling the Satio.

Sony Ericsson, which is currently suffering losses, hopes to launch a new set of handhelds, mostly smartphones, which will be affordably priced. The mobile phone maker also hopes that this would result in profits the coming year.
