The leading US based technology device manufacturer, Dell will be directly launching as well as selling its new business focused mobile phone, Dell Venue Pro in the United Kingdom, according to a statement given by the company on Tuesday.

The Dell Venue Pro smartphone's operating system is Windows Phone 7 mobile OS. This handset comes with an AMOLED touchscreen display of 4.1 inch diagonal size and a QWERTY keyboard that slides vertically. This keyboard of the new smartphone is expected to offer better text entry and E-mailing.

The new Dell Venue Pro, while bolstering the business credentials of the company, integrates with MS office for allowing mobile editing or viewing of the documents. Syncing, posting and viewing of Share Point site documents are also supported by this phone that offers integration with MS Exchange Server Email.

The Venue Pro of Dell offers a genuine mixture of business and pleasure, and is the ideal mobile phone for the consumers that appreciated the life-work balance. This is the view of the vice president of Dell for consumer medium and small businesses, Aongus Hegarty.

Other key specifications included in the new Dell smartphone are a stationary microSD memory card of 16GB, Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity, 5MP camera and a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdargon processor.
