As the unavailability of the Playstation Network continues on the internet, millions of internet gamers across the world are left unable to play their favourite games on the internet.

It has been reported that the gamers that try to access the Playstation Network for playing their favourite games are being welcomed by error messages, which state that the network was under going maintenance or has been suspended for the time being.

Sony, the maker of the Playstation Network has said in a blog post that it had turned the network off on Wednesday following the detection of an external intrusion.

Sony added that it was trying its best for resolving the problem that was frustrating a considerable number of its Playstation customers.

It is also worth noting here that Playstation has been in the recent weeks, targeted by a group of hackers that call themseleves Anonymous.

However, the group had come up to deny the responsibility of the hacker attack. The group subsequently released a message that stated they did not do that for once.
