Google seems to be on a diversifying spree. A PCWorld report gives a list of Google products that are to be released in the future, which are not smartphones. However, they'll be powered by the Android platform. Here's a peek:-

Android Tablet

Tablets powered by Android, from various manufacturers like Asus, Samsung among others, are expected to hit markets in the coming months. Samsung is supposed to be developing a 7-inch tablet which will be going up against the Apple iPad. Even LG is mentioned to be working on a super-thin tablet that will run on the Android platform. Asus' tablet is supposed to be named the EEE Pad.

Android TV

The Google TV that had been making news some months ago is said to merge Android capabilities with the TV viewing experience. This product is said to be compatible with TV sets, Blu Ray players and stand-alone boxes. Not only will the user be able to look up online content, but also, TV channels, upcoming shows, movies and more. Plus, there is supposed to be access to the Android Market as well. Google TV is expected in markets during this fall.

Android Landline Phone System
This product is supposed to bring internet and Android Market access to your landline phone.



Android Home Control System
This product is supposed to let you control things in your house like switching on and off of lights, closing of doors, entertainment devices using multimedia remotes and more.



Android Appliances

Android based washers, dryers, microwave ovens and more are supposed to be available in the future as well.

Sounds interesting. We'd not be surprised if we find Android powered automobiles soon.
