'Galaxy S Advance' to emerge earlier than 'Galaxy S3'
Samsung may not have decided about the date of selling its 'Galaxy S3'. However it is getting ready to go ahead with 'Galaxy S Advance GT-i9070'. The Android phone will be on show at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. This is as per a report by Hardwarezone.

Galaxy S Advance seems to have the features of its predecessors like 'Galaxy S', 'Galaxy S2' and 'Galaxy Nexus'. It is of 4 inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display with a resolution of 800x480 mega pixel. The dual core processor is of 1 GHz and the battery is of 1,500mAh. Its 5 MP camera has LED flash and provides support for 720p High Definition Video recording facilities.

The enclosure is slightly curved. The curve seems to have been deliberately made so as to prevent Apple from claiming that the phone has similarity with iPhone in shape. Samsung does not want to have a legal battle with Apple for this. However, just like the iPhone, Advance has only one home button.

Surprisingly, the phone will run on 'Android Gingerbread 2.3.6 version', whereas the older Nexus runs on the latest Ice cream sandwich. However the necessary upgrade is expected soon.

Other Galaxy S phones suggested include 'Galaxy S Minister', 'Galaxy S Club' and 'Galaxy S Express'.
