Early this year Google released an update 'Google Translate app for Android' incorporating the invaluable 'conversion mode' facility. The feature enables the two individuals to converse, while the app, with the help of 'speech to text' and 'text to speech' algorithms enables co-ordination between the two. In other words, the app is not intended to do mere translation.
For further improvement, a new version of the app with added language support has been launched today. Apart from English and Spanish, the new version of the app supports conversion mode between speakers of various European, American and Asian languages.
Google Translate has the means to correct app mistakes, thus ensuring enhanced accuracy. Also included is a magnification mode for the benefit of those with poor eyesight.
The app is now available in the Android Market.
