Mobile phone maker, HTC, will be holding a special event in London, on 15 September 2010. Speculations about the unveiling of their new smartphone which will feature Microsoft's new operating system, the Windows Phone 7, are in the air. This device will most probably be the HTC HD3 Phone.
This Windows Phone 7 phone had been spotted in rumour grounds some months back. It is the successor to the HTC HD2 phone, which ran the Windows Mobile 6.5 platform.
The leaked HTC HD3 specs seem quite stunning. It will most probably have a 4.5-inch AMOLED capacitive multi-touch screen with a high definition resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. Internally, it might be driven by a superfast 1.5GHz ARM processor, which is capable of 1080p video-playback.
A 1GB RAM is expected to be present. Internal memory of 16GB might also be available. Apart from this, a microSD card slot for 32GB cards, might as well offer memory storage. Networking might include 3G, WiFi and Bluetooth. An 8MP camera with dual LED flash and HD video-recording ability will perhaps be integrated too. Another attraction that's reportedly present in the HTC HD3 mobile phone is the HDMI port, which will allow connecting to a HD TV for a more thrilling video-viewing experience.
All in all, this HTC Windows Phone 7 Phone seems to be impressive. But we'll need to wait for HTC's event for exact details. Stay tuned for more.
