HTC Hero Mobile Phone will Hit the UK Shores on July 15

The new Android smartphone from HTC, HTC Hero Android Mobile Phone is all set to hit the Amazon stores in the UK, with a price tag of GBP 429, which is deemed by many as exorbitant.

This smartphone that works on an Android platform has already earned a monicker - the Twitter-phone, and will be available from the 15th day of July, as revealed by the Amazon site. However, many do not accept it whole-mindedly as the likes of T-Mobile or Orange have not given out any date regarding the launch of this phone yet.

The fresh release is claimed to be coming SIM-free and the predominant attraction of it would be its unique Sense UI touch interface that is expected to promptly compliment the Android Operating System adorning the phone. The Sense UI, in its turn transcends the popular as well as successful TouchFLO touch interface that worked well with the HTC smartphones that used Windows Oss.

Other significant features of the Hero are; a 5 MP digital camera, GPS receiver, 3.inch LCD-TFT touchscreen display, 528 Mhz processor, 512MB ROM, 288MB RAM, memory card slot for additional memory that suits microSD cards, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, trackball, 1350 mAh battery, digital compass and G-sensor.
