HTC Explorer, the cheapest of all HTC phones, is of curved design and has 'Sense User Interface' on top of the operating system 'Android 2.3'. It gives the users some sort of advanced smartphone experience.
The specifications include a 600 MHz processor, 3.2 inch Half-size Video Graphics Array (HVGA) touchscreen and a 3 MP camera.
Jason Mackenzie of HTC informed that the phone takes care of the needs of the users and can be easily handled by them.
The presence of HVGA display enables the users to run most of the applications in the Android market even though the screen is small.
A number of works and email accounts can be accessed without any difficulty and wastage of time. The various months of the calendar can be seen simultaneously, with appointments shown in different colours for easy identification.
The exact cost is yet to be revealed, but is expected to be around GBP 100. The date of release is also not available, but the phone is sure to emerge before the end of the year.
