Those people in the United Kingdom aspiring to lay their hands on a Facebook mobile phone will have to wait untill 17 June. It is on this day the popular mobile phone maker HTC will be launching its new Facebook phone models HTC Salsa and HTC Chacha.

According to website expansys the two HTC smartphones that had been originally given an early 2011quarter two release date, were listed with a summer launch date after a few months from setting the orginal day.

Although, the Facebook branded is and profound social integration have been features by both the handsets they are greatly different in regards to their hardware.

A portrait QWERTY smartphone, HTC Chacha backs a complete physical keypad with a 2.6 touchscreen display of 450 x 220 pixels resolution. This phone is complemented with an Android 2.3 operating system, a 5MP camera, VGA secondary camera, Wi-Fi and HSDPA connectivity, internal memory of 512MB, expandable memory provision of 32GB and a 600MHz processor.

On the other hand the HTC Salsa is a totally touchscreen device that packs a 3.4 inchdisplay of 480 x 320 pixels resolution. Similar to its cousin Salsa will feature a 5MP camera with flash, internal memory of 512MB, microSD memory expansion, Wi-Fi and HSDPA connectivity and Abdroid 2.3 operating system.
