'Kindle Fire' of Amazon set to dictate tablet market in 2012
'Amazon Kindle Fire' tablet was released in the United States in November and became popular immediately. It is likely to have good sales in the following months. The forecast is that it will have almost 50% of the market share in the next year.

The forecast was made by 'Robert Cihr', analyst at 'Evercore Partners'. If at all it happens to be true, it is something great for Amazon.

The tablet is complete with 1 GHz TI OMAP dual core processor and 8 GB storage. It has a 7 inch IPS Gorilla Glass display and 1024 x 600 resolution. It runs on Android 2.3.

Surprisingly, Amazon is selling it without any profit. Amazon can afford to do so because it is far ahead of the competitors due to its huge digital content library and also its marketing network.

Other manufacturers will have nightmare at the popularity of Kindle Fire, that too in such a short span after its introduction. However Amazon cannot not disturb Apple's market share.

Kindle Fire is supposed to take the place of 'iPad 2' as the leader among tablets

But it is not going to be, in spite of its heavy sales, as it cannot match the Apple tablet in quality.
