The new Samsung Galaxy S2 is not anything that people need to take lightly. Packed with a slim chassis, a 1,2 GHz processor, quick responses and extraordinarily clear screen, people who own one are not yet ready to get rid of the phone. However the all new Galaxy S 3 seems a pretty thrilling prospect, particularly as there are anticipations that it would do better than its earlier model regarding certain significant specifications.

To start with it seems rather sure that the S3 will be powered by not only a dual-core processor, but rather a super fast 1.5GHz or 1.6GHz quad core processor. Over and above that, it will run on the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. Though the super clear AMOLED screen would be the same as the S2, the size of the screen would be larger with a 4.65 inch display when compared to the 4.3 inch sized screen of the S2. With all the hullabaloo that has been going on around the Galaxy S3 whose launch date is yet to be decided, it is hardly astonishing that the earlier stories of the S3 being launched at the Mobile World Congress being held in Barcelona the coming month may turn out to be wrong. Nevertheless, the gossips that the phone will still be unveiled in the UK in April have people wondering whether the manufacturers may prefer to alter the dates of the launch in the UK to coincide or be closer the date of its first release.
