Major security flaw noticed in AT&T Samsung Galaxy SII
AT&T 'Samsung Galaxy SII' phone does have a lock screen bypass, making use of which the unauthorized persons have the chance to access the phone, and all the data stored therein.

'Boy Genius Report' came across it while checking the phone. It considers it to be a serious flaw on the part of the company. Switch on the phone, pay no attention to the lock screen and allow the display to disappear, restart again. It can be then seen that any pattern based locks screen is no more there.

It is not happening in any other model of Galaxy S II. It means the problem is with AT&T. It is surprising that a fix develops at the time of release itself.

The lock can be bypassed only if the handset is unlocked successfully during the power cycle. Valid authentication is essential initially.
