It seems Sony Ericsson, one of the leading mobile device manufacturers of the world has finally decided to end the long wait of the mobile phone gamers of the United Kingdom by deciding a launch date for their gaming mobile phone Sony Ericsson Xperia Play.

According to reports riffed in the mobile phone market of the United Kingdom, the Sony Ericsson Play Satation mobile phone will be open for purchase for the ardent mobile gamers of the country by March end.

the Sony Ericsson Play that was displayed at the Barcelona mobile world congress of 2011, boasts of a display of 4 inch diagonal size powered with 854 x 480 pixels and a processor of 1GHz clock speed. This mobile phone runs on a Google Android 2.3 version platform that is also called Gingerbread. This gaming mobile phone comes with a slide out game pad instead of a keyboard.

The Sony Ericsson Play Station mobile phone is expected to come with six pre-installed games including The Sims Three, FIFA 10, Crash Bandicoot and Bruce Lee Dragon Warriors. Futhermore fifteen games will also be availed via the Play Station Suite.

The games available with the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play gaming mobile phone would be a combination of existing popular mobile phone games and retro classics, which have been optimised for operating with the device.
