Mobile mast near Fiveaways pub intimidates
It has reported from West Earlham that families residing close to the Fiveaways pub are being pressed to provide their views on plans for installing a mobile mast outside their locality, barely one week after a similar scheme was fought off in the bicinity.

The leading mobile network operators of the United Kingdom, O2 and Vodafone are believed to be coming up with a bid for ercting a mobile phone mast on the grass berge off the Fiveaways pub located in Gipsy Lane. It is understood that the mobile operators are likely to submit a planning application in the next ten days although resisdence of the area are being probed for their views as part of a consultation process initial stage.

The move follows a bid for a couple of mobile phone masts owing rejected last week by city planners. The two masts in the bid refered to a 14.8 meter tower cum antennas outside thepub and a 15 meter mobile mast outside the police station of Earlham located in Earlham road. The masts were rejected by the city planners sitting their height and placement.

However the news has triggerred off surprise in staff at the pub. James Brant, the landlord said that he did not know anything regarding the incident and they would not be pleased about placing the mast out there without hearing their comments.

It had emerged in February that springing up of an increased number of mobile masts could be seen by Norwich as firms had been trying to meet the mobile phone usage demand and the increasing consumption of smartphone.
