Vodafone, one of the popular mobile phone carriers and mobile networks operating in the United Kingdom, has reportedly launched a fresh mobile phone online charity service dubbed Just Text Giving.
For launching the new Just Text Giving mobile phone internet charity service, the mobile phone operator has joined hands with Just Giving, the popular online donation service.
The fresh service has been designed to let the 50 million mobile phone owners of the United Kingdom donate to charity through text messaging. The service is expected to be free of costs and could change the way 184,000 charities of the United Kingdom collected donations.
With the new Just Text Giving service the mobile phone owners in the United Kingdom will be able to donate to charities while on the move anytime, according to Vodafone. The charities also carry no running or set up costs.
Personalised text codes that can be used by the consumers to make donations are featured by Just Text Giving. The donations made through the service will be debited from the mobile phone owner's pay as you go account or added to his monthly bills.
