New Mobile Phones for 2010 - Nokia N900, Sony Ericsson Xperia X10

Numerous mobile phones from various vendors are lined up to release early in the new year. The Nokia N900 mobile phone and the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mobile phone are 2 of the technology-rich, high end ones.

This 3.5", touchscreen device is driven by the ARM Cortex A8 processor. There is a slide out QWERTY keyboard as well. 3G, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth abilities are all offered. A 32GB in-phone memory is available. MicroSD cards of a maximum of 16GB are also supported. A 5MP camera with Carl-Zeiss optics & dual LED flash is built in too. Giving tough competition to the Nokia N900, is the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 smartphone which might see a release in February 2010. Unlike the Nokia handset, the Sony Ericsson one is a full touchscreen phone with no physical keyboard. This is an Android powered handset with a larger 4" capacitive touchscreen and a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 1GHz processor has been employed in it. Here again, you'll be able to use WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth and 3G abilities. This handheld is equipped with an 8MP camera. Both these smartphones are fitted with multimedia features, an FM radio and a 3.5mm headphone jack each. Additionally, the Nokia N900 has a TV output too. They can each access their respective app stores (Android Marketplace for the Xperia X10 and Ovi Store for the N900). Nokia and Sony Ericsson are now up against each other in the smartphone war. The pricing of both these mobile handsets will be a crucial factor in determining which of them will turn out a better seller.
