A Motorola-made Google Mobile Phone?

After the Google-HTC partnership for the Google Nexus One, it seems like the next pair is going to be Google-Motorola. Chief Executive of Motorola, Sanjay Jha, during the quarterly financial conference call of the company, has reportedly mentioned that the company is working on a smartphone in partnership with the search engine giant.

Apart from this detail, there was no mention about specifications, pricing or launch. Hence the only next thing possible right now is assumptions and reckonings. According to some sources, this second Google mobile phone might be called Google Nexus Two.

Slashgear speculates that this smartphone could be the Motorola Shadow, which made a brief leaked appearance on the web recently. A few unconfirmed specifications of this device had as well surfaced. This high-end handheld is supposed to have a large 4.3" touchscreen with a resolution of 850 x 484 pixels. An 8MP camera with 1080p video recording ability is expected to be housed in this mobile handset too. Even an HDMI output is said to be present in the device.

In comparison with the Motorola Shadow, the first Google smartphone, the Google Nexus One, has a 3.7" touchscreen and a 5MP camera which lacks HD video recording capability. The Nexus One even missed out the HDMI port.

We'll keep you posted about any other details that we come upon regarding the new Google branded Motorola Mobile Phone.
