
The maunfacturer of BlcakBerry mobile phones, Research In Motion (RIM) has reportedly unveiled their new BlackBerry Bold 9930 and 9900 smartphones. Both these mobile phones run on their new BlackBerry 7 operating system.
The two mobile phones displayed on Tuesday are essentially the similar device with one difference. HSPA+ mobile broadband is supported by the 9900, while both HSPA+ global roaming and CDMA REVAEV-DO that is widely engaged in North America are supported by the 9930.
The two mobile phones are the first in the line up of RIM to incorporate the NFC (Near Field Communication) technology into them.
Mike Lazaridis, the chief of Research In Motion said in a statement that the handsets offered an increasingly refined consumer experience through a blazingly fast operation, a remarkable typing experience and a stunning touchscreen.
One of the new features boasted of by the BlackBerry 7 operating system is its touchscreen's Liquid Graphics technology that allows upto 60 frames a second frame rate.
A pixel density of 287 pixels an inch, which is lesser than the 326 pixels per inch of the iPhone 4, is offered by the display of the new BlackBerry Bolds. It is noteworthy that the pixel density of the display of Samsung Nexus S is 235 pixels per inch.
