
Manufacturer plunges bid to win over consumers by letting them to choose the 'ultimate concept phone'
Nokia is requesting its customers to select the design for the next smart phone in an effort to win them overĀ strong competition being prevailed. As a part of 'Design By Community' project,
Nokia is asking customer to choose among three designs for its 'ultimate concept phone'. Nokia,
the global leader isĀ been fighting hard to procure profits due to the poor selection of smart phones.
YouGov survey for July revealed that consumer who opt to get Nokia handsets has fallen upto 12% in recent months. Nokia's project which was commenced in March this year, has requested its customers to present ideas and concepts for a new phone. And for which more than about
72000 people have responded. Features that has been voted the most by the consumers are open source operating system, Dolby Surround Sound, captivating display of about 4 inches, video recording, HDMI, Wi Fi Connectivity and 8MP camera with 4x optical zoom.
The winning sketch will be displayed on the conversation blog of Nokia after being transformed into a 3D render.
