Rumours indicate that, Finnish mobile phone maker, Nokia, will soon be making dual SIM mobile handsets. The company is said to be concentrating on making such mobile handhelds in the coming year.

A Nokia insider has reportedly mentioned that the dual SIM Nokia mobile phones will be launched during the second quarter of 2010.

While this can turn out to be quite beneficial for the consumer crowd, the network operators might not want to stock such handhelds. And it is reckoned that Nokia will be selling these handsets in emerging markets.

This move from Nokia is supposedly the result of being ousted by Samsung from the numero uno position in the UK. However, there has been no official announcements made so far.
