Nokia launches 'Lumina 800' phone to compete with leaders in the market
Nokia, maker of the user friendly phone of yester years, of various price ranges, the phone of the past, is trying to force a comeback. It is going to launch its 'Lumina 800' on the coming Wednesday. The company will be able to determine the customers' interest in the company.

Compared to the past, Nokia has an advantage at present as it is tied up with Microsoft. Stephen Elop, who was with Microsoft but joined Nokia recently, wanted the company to incorporate Windows Operating system with immediate effect, replacing Symbian.

But things are not that easy for Nokia, with the leaders in the phone market like Google and Apple set to release their latest handsets. But Nokia is spending fabulously for advertisements to catch the public. Banners and posters are installed in buildings. Their slogan 'Amazing Everyday' can be seen everywhere.

'Orange', the network operator has decided to offer 'Xbox 360' free to Lumina 800 purchasers. In fact, other network operators are doing their best for the success of Nokia. True, a good competition to Google and Apple will only help in strengthening of the smartphone business which will help the providers and shops also to earn profits, apart from the company.

Steven Elop wants to target the new mobile users of the developing world as well as the existing Nokia users of the western countries, who love their Nokia and continue to use them with an up gradation. Those users are not aware of the present status of the Finnish company.
