The Carphone Warehouse has notified that 'Nokia Lumia 900' smartphone will kick off in the UK in the summer.
Original announcement was that the phone would be launched exclusively in the USA and on AT&T network.
It was shown at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) a few days back.
The 4.3 inch AMOLED ClearBlack display phone runs on 'Windows Phone 7.5' operating system. It is the first LTE handset from Nokia, utilizing the 4 G technology to get faster speeds for next generation requirements.
4G services are expected to be available in the UK by the end of the year.
Long Term Evolution (LTE) smartphones can handle speed up to 100 Mbps
Interested customers are advised to pre-order the handset before its arrival in June 2012. A slight delay can also be expected. It is presumed that Windows Phone Apollo version will also be ready by then. But the phone will get the upgrade after its launch.
The primary camera of 8 MP contains Carl Zeiss optics, an aperture of F2.2 and wide angle focal length of 28 mm. A front facing camera is also there for video calling.
After Nokia Lumia 800 and Nokia Lumia 710, Nokia Lumia 900 is the third Nokia phone to be released with Windows phone operating system.
The cost of the phone is not yet revealed.
