Nokia's latest flagship smartphone is the much-anticipated Nokia N8 and is being offered by Vodafone UK, against pre-orders for it. All those who pre-order with Vodafone UK currently, will receive the smartphone on 22nd of October.



This is Nokia's first phone to run on the Symbian 3 operating system. It also has a powerful 12-megapixel camera incorporated with a Carl Zeiss lens and a Xenon flash. The smartphone is capable of recording high-definition video (720p) too. Additionally the N8 can access popular social networking platforms. Users can bring updates from Facebook and Twitter on to the phone's home-screen which is a 3.5-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, with a resolution of 640x360 pixels. The Nokia N8 has 16GB of memory and can accept MicroSD cards up to 32GB.

Vodafone UK has on offer different tariff plans along with this smartphone. The Nokia N8 deals will cost £25 per month for a two-year contract which offers 500MB of data, 100 minutes and 500 texts. £99 is the price of the handset offered on this plan.

For a two-year contract and tariff of £30 per month, the handset comes free. This plan offers 500MB of data, 600 minutes and unlimited texts.
