Nokia is apparently planning a sequel to the Nokia N86 Mobile Phone which featured an 8 Megapixel camera. The new mobile handset is supposedly called Nokia N87. It is expected to pack in a 12 Megapixel camera. So will this new handheld be tough competition to the Sony Ericsson Satio (which was recalled on account of certain software issues) and the Samsung M8910 Pixon?

The gadget will reportedly sport Carl Zeiss optics. A report from ITechNews mentions that it will have Xenon and dual LED flash. This seems a little confusing. So let's not assume anything unless we see what's actually in store. A 3.2" capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels will also be featured.

There was a YouTube video showing glimpses of this new Nokia mobile handset. However, it has been removed due to copyright issues with Nokia Corporation. So for now it is just wait and watch out for any more news. But we'll let you know as soon as we hear something.
