This means that life has turned out a bit easier at present with the announcement made by Chiltern of a fresh mobile ticketing plan, which allows the passengers to use their Nokia mobile phones to buy and download train tickets through a dedicated application for their forthcoming journeys on the network.

The application that has been developed by Masabi, a company based in London can be used to purchase as well as download e-train tickets that can be scanned by the readers set up in stations. Masabi has developed the application in consultation with Atos Origin.
