O2 app deal announced by e-Bay
e-Bay the popular online uction website has partnered with the prominent mobile network operator of the United Kingdom, O2 for providing the consumers in the United Kingdom with the opportunity to intend for items for parcel delivery easly and quickly through their mobile phone.

An e-bay mobile application will be offered as standard with all smartphones provided by O2 from later in 2011, as part of a deal with the parent company of O2 Telefonica.

Telefonica O2 Europes' content head, Glynpovah described the deal as excellent for the customer of the company as well as for the brands it worked with.

Meanwhile e-Bay's vice president for mobile Steve Yankovish said that as the smartphones were currently out selling the personal computers the future of shopping for their customers very much vested in mobile.

Yankovish further stated that the 22 million customers of O2 would be able to buy items more conveniently as a result of the new team up, regardless of their position.
