The official information regarding the specifications and release date of Huawei Honor smartphone is eagerly awaited.

However it seems to be complete with Gingerbread operating system, a single core 1.4 GHz processor, a 4 inch Full Wide Video Graphics Array (FWVGA) capacitive screen of 854x480 pixels resolution and a radio suited for European and Asian communication standards. A rear camera of 8 MP and 2 MP front camera, 512 MB RAM and 1900 mAh battery may also be included. The thickness is about 10.9 mm. It is expected to be suitable for GSM 850/900/1800/1900 WCDMA (Wideband Code Division Multiple Access)/HSPA+ (High Speed Packet Access)/ AWS (Advanced Wireless Services)/ 2100 bands.

The cost is not yet revealed. However, the Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) certified mobile phone should hit the Middle East, Asia Pacific, Russia and China markets in classic black colour sometime between October and December. More colours are expected during the Christmas season.
