Immediately after the launch of the 'iPhone 4S' last week as many as 4 million Apple iPhone were sold in quick time. It was not unexpected. However it seems that the stocks are running short.

The carriers in the US are making big efforts to get new stocks. The customers' option to buy online from the local Apple Store is no more possible as Apple has clarified that it has updated the purchasing procedures through website and that in-stores purchase can be through reservation only.

After 9-00 p.m. a reservation for the 4S can be done for the following day morning at an App Store. There will be large rush and it is better not to be late to avoid disappointment.
