
It has been the turn of the customers of a different network operating firm to face down time apart from Sony, the Japanese eletronics giant. It has been reported that mobile phone carrier and one of the leading mobile network operators in the United Kingdom O2 has come across outage in parts of the country.
The Register's Bill Ray has reported that the mobile phone carrier has been suffering from service outage since tad past midnight last day. This outage had left the customers unable to make or recieve calls or use the datas services since the early hours of last morning.
The areas that have been reported to be left affected so far namely are the areas of North and East London to the South-East, and Sussex and Kent. A number of customers have revealed that they could hardly get voice services although they could get data connections.
However, there are also many, whatsoever that are reportedly left with no service at all.
A few mobile service providers that piggyback the mobile network O2 are Giff Gaff and Tesco Mobile. These companies are also left without any service. Meanwhile a map has been posted by Giff Gaff to show the customers, which areas were affected and which were not.
