It has been rued that the restaurants and pubs in the United Kingdom were largely missing a trick by not benefiting from dedicated websites designed to properly function with mobile phones.
This information was outed by a recently carried out research by Live bookings, a popular marketing and reservation company thriving online.
The research revealed that just 2.6 per cent of restaurants and pubs operating in the United Kingdom engaged a website, which is optimised to properly function with mobile phones.
Nevertheless, inspite of that it was also found out that 23 per cent of browsing on the internet was currently being done using mobile phones.
It was pointed out by the Live bookings research that 36 per cent of the population of the United Kingdom currently owned a smartphone and computer. Alongside it was also found that searches over the PC are plummeting by 15 per cent year on year.
This meant that those restaurants and pubs in the United Kingdom that did not avail online reservation over the mobile phone were largely missing out on a tremendous opportunity to filling their tables.
